Show Bands

NHS has 2 competitive show choirs with backing bands - Act II for freshman and sophomores and Vintage for juniors and seniors. Admission into the groups is by audition in the spring of the previous school year.

The bands are comprised of a rock combo - drums, bass, guitar and keyboards - plus horns.

Vintage travels to 5 competitions per year and takes a major trip every 2 years. Act II travels to 3 competitions per year.
